The big day has arrived.

           The alarm rings. The bridesmaids have already started sending you messages. Your mother is already anxious. You are very happy, smiling. Your fiancé sends you flowers and a beautiful card.

          The day is beautiful. The bright sun in a blue sky. The most awaited moment is approaching. Everyone looks amazing. You are very happy, waiting for the door to open. The door opens, and your very happy fiancé gets emotional upon seeing you. Your father walks you down the aisle to your groom and hugs you. He cries and whispers that he loves you in your ear. Finally, the reunion, now at the altar. God's blessing. Around you, people who love you very much, happy and very emotional. Rice, soap bubbles, or sparklers as you both walk out.

         Time to party! Lots of fun. Cutting the cake, photos with the groomsmen that will go into the photo frames. The first dance, now married. Dancing with your father to the sound of “Como é grande o meu amor por você.” Tears. Smiles and so much happiness for hours that we wish would last forever.

         This is the story that enchants me, that excites me, and inspires me to photograph couples in love. Moments that stir unforgettable feelings in people, which we can capture through photography.

Most of the time, people associate many things with price, material values, something measurable, tangible, and forget what is truly essential, especially when referring to something that is not material — the moment. But how much is a moment worth?

In a photograph, for example, you’re not just buying a piece of paper with your image; you’re capturing a unique moment of yours, your memory, your story. The piece of paper is just the medium used to record that image, that moment, but how much is that moment worth?

In some cases, there is nothing that comes close to the value that certain moments hold. What if this moment was beside a person you will never see again? Even though this memory is a piece of paper, how much would it be worth? Or better, for how much would you sell it?
